Premier League referee David Coote has been handed an eight-week suspension and ordered to attend a face-to-face education programme after admitting an aggravated breach of FA Rule E3. The case relates to a video recorded in July 2020 and shared on social media in November 2024, in which he used abusive language about Jurgen Klopp with a reference to nationality. An independent Regulatory Commission issued the sanctions.
